Social Activities

 

The Spitz Zemer HaZayit experience extends far beyond the walls of the shul.  We foster a sense of community through social activities for congregation members.  We are committed to working for the good of the Efrat community and the nation at large.

Highlights of our social activities include:

• Trips led by congregational members who are licensed tour guides

• Yom Ha'atzmaut camping and cookout

• Lag Ba'omer bonfire

• Hanukkah family treasure hunt

• Study sessions on Shabbat afternoon
   

Children from the congregation visit the Hod Yerushalayim Seniors' Home before holidays.  They engage the elders in holiday craft activities and games, bringing special joy to the residents.  These interactions foster strong intergenerational bonds among the children and the seniors they visit.

פעילות חברתית

​

קהילת שפיץ זמר הזית פועלת רבות גם מחוץ לקירות בית הכנסת.

​

אנחנו מפתחים תחושת קהילתיות באמצעות מגוון של פעילויות חברתיות עבור חברי הקהילה.

​

אנחנו מחויבים לפעול למען טובת הקהילה המורחבת באפרת ולמען החברה הישראלית בכללה.

​

אירועים חברתיים נבחרים שהקהילה מקיימת במהלך השנה:

-סיורים בארץ בהדרכת חברי הקהילה שהם מורי דרך מוסמכים

קמפינג ביום העצמאות-

מדורת ל"ג בעומר-

משחק משפחתי "חפש את המטמון" בחנוכה-

שיעורי תורה בשבתות-

ילדי הקהילה מבקרים בקביעות בבית האבות "הוד ירושלים" לפני חגים. הילדים משוחחים, משחקים ועושים פעילות יצירה עם הדיירים בדיור המוגן.

​

ביקורי הילדים מביאים שמחת חיים לדיירים, והילדים מושפעים עמוקות מהאינטרקציות המשמעותיות עם הדיירים.
