At this time we are pushing forward with the installation of the room of the synagogue building. The structure of the roof was constructed in three parts on the floor of the synagogue building and then lifted into place by a crane, a very exciting moment for all of us! The builders are currently filling in the spaces between the roof sections, and will soon cover the roof with tiles. The roof should be completed by the end of January. The continued work after the roof includes the stone facing and the completion of the interior. That work depends of the revival of the building sector, which is dependent on the war situation.

בעת הזו מקדמים את בניית גג בית הכנסת. בנו את השלד שלו על רצפת קומת בית הכנסת, ואז הניפו אותו להנחה במקום. מבצעים עכשיו השלמות של הרווחים בין החלקים שהוכנו מראש, וכן על ציפוי הגג באריחים. יסיימו תוך כשבועיים שלושה את הגג בהשלמת ארגזי הרוח שבצדי הגג. המשך הבנייה מעבר לגג – ציפוי אבן למבנה, והשלמת פנים בית הכנסת – תלוי בחזרת ענף הבנייה בכללי בארץ לשגרה.

In the past few weeks, the interior walls were completed, and external development has been done.
In the coming few weeks, the roof and the external stone wall covering will be laid.
It's really happening!
We are making progress every day!
We still need to raise another 900,000 shekels.
We all need to be involved in order to make sure the project can be completed.

בשבועות האחרונים השלימו קירות פנים וכן פיתוחי חוץ.
בשבועות הקרובים יניחו את הגג ויתחילו בחיפוי האבן.
זה ממש קורה, מתקדמים כל יום! חסרים לנו עוד כ-900,000 ש"ח
כולנו יחד צריכים לגייס ולהתגייס כדי שלא ניתקע באמצע!

We have engaged a project manager, Moolie Sela, who has helped us survey contractors and choose the best one. This week the contract will be signed. The contractor has already begun by fencing off the building site and doing some initial exploratory digging (see picture attached). He will begin working consistently on our project once the contract is signed this week. Projected time to completion is one year. We are currently working on stage one, which includes the sanctuary, lobby, and bathrooms upstairs as well as preparations in the downstairs area for further construction in stage two. The cost of stage one is 4 million shekel, of which we have raised 3 million so far. We’ll keep you posted on our progress!

לטובת פרויקט הבניה, הקהילה שכרה את שרותיו של מולי סלע כמנהל הפרויקט. מולי עזר לנו רבות בתהליך הכנת המפרטים והחוזים מול הקבלנים ובעזרתו בחרנו את הקבלן המתאים ביותר. השבוע, יחתם החוזה מול קבלן הבניה. בשטח, הקבלן כבר התחיל בגידור השטח וחישוף השטח לצורך תחילת העבודה. העובדה תתחיל במלוא המרץ ברגע שיחתם החוזה. צפי מתוכנן לסיום העבודות הוא כשנה. אנחנו כרגע מתחילים בנייה של שלב א' הכולל את ההיכל המרכזי, לובי, חדרי שירותים ובנייה של הקומה התחתונה ברמה של הכנה לאפשרות לגימור עתידי המתוכננת בשלב ב'. העלות לשלב א' היא 4 מליון ש"ח, עד עכשיו גייסנו סכום של 3 מליון ש"ח. אנחנו נמשיך לעדכן בהתקדמות הפרויקט.
